The Danube Delta was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. The Biosphere Reserve of the Danube Delta is shared between Ukraine and neighboring Romania. It is the second biggest delta in Europe and is the best preserved one on the continent.

On the Ankudinov Island there is a monument of the Zero Kilometer Mark which symbolically flags the mouth of the Danube River on the Ukrainian territory. And though the actual Kilometre Zero belongs to Romania the place has become really popular among tourists.

The Monument to Lipovans
Operation: year round
A small town of Vilkovo was founded in 1746 by Lipovans, the descendants of the Old Rite followers. Vilkovo is quite a peculiar town, hidden in the reeds on the flood land, with the streets – channels and boats instead of cars.

My week end in Kiev was splendid and everything were great;
First, I am very pleased of Your driver Alex, he were very kind and on time.
My flight landed with more than 2 hours delay. Alex is very well speaking
English and French, he also bring us all assistance nearby the hotel check-in. About Rus Hotel, service and room were excellent we went into two nice
restaurants I would recommend, Corsair and a traditional Ukrainian called
something like "Pecherskii dvorik"
Last thing about Ukrainian people, you are very kind and friendly people!
